Mustang Families,

We are excited to begin the launch of our afterschool programs, including Clubs and Tutoring.

  • All students will report to study hall from 1:40-2:30 p.m. Programs run from 2:30-3:30 p.m., unless it is specified as a 1:40-2:30 activity.

  • Each program is assigned to a specific day.

  • Students can enroll in more than one afterschool program.

Attendance and Discipline Expectations

Due to the academic nature of the programs, students who have three or more unexcused absences will be removed from their afterschool program(s). In addition, it is expected that all students will continue to model The Big 3. Indian Trails’ discipline policy will be in effect. Any behavior that violates these expectations will result in disciplinary consequences and possible removal from the program(s).

ITMS Tutoring
We offer afterschool tutoring in all content areas. Seventh and eighth graders can sign up daily in the dining hall during lunch. Similar to the afterschool programs, all students who sign up for tutoring will attend study hall from 1:40-2:30 p.m. Tutoring study hall will be held in the Spark (ITMS Media Center). From there, students will report to the teacher’s assigned room for tutoring, which will take place from 2:30-3:30 p.m. Please refer to the Afterschool Tutoring link on the side menu for more information.

All programs and tutoring sessions dismiss at 3:30pm. Students will exit through the back of the school and will be waiting for parent/guardian at the student pick-up area through the North gate. Early pickup is at the front desk and parents must sign students out. Study Hall is only for students who are staying for tutoring. Your student’s academic success is the focus of tutoring, therefore, remaining in tutoring for the entire session (2:30-3:30) is vital. Please plan to pick up the students from tutoring in back of the school at 3:30 p.m. On Monday and Wednesdays only there will be transportation by bus to a limited amount of bus stops. The activities bus will depart ITMS at 4:15 and all riders must have a bus pass provided from their activity sponsor or coach. Scholars who choose to ride the activities bus will report to the cafeteria at 3:30 p.m. for supervision until the bus arrives. Students attending an activity/club from 1:40-2:30 can attend another club from 2:30-3:30 if available, or sign up for tutoring.
