Service-learning offers a unique opportunity for 7th and 8th graders to get involved with their communities in a tangible way by integrating service projects with classroom learning. Service-learning engages students in the educational process, using what is learned in the classroom to solve real-life problems. In this class you will identify and act upon real-world problems in our community. You will take actions to promote the outcome of your work. In the process, you will draw upon the skills and knowledge gained throughout the year in your academic classrooms.
